Breitling Chronomat Ref. B13048 – Steel & Gold – Automatic Chronograph – circa 1993
A highly distinctive and iconic Breitling Chronomat, reference B13048, dating to approximately 1993. This model represents one of the defining designs of Breitling’s modern era, combining bold aesthetics with robust chronograph performance.
The watch is powered by the Breitling Calibre 13, based on the renowned ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic movement, known for its reliability, durability, and precise chronograph functionality.
The stainless steel and gold case is in very good condition, showing only light signs of wear consistent with age. The signature rider-tab bezel, along with the gold crown and chronograph pushers, gives the watch its unmistakable and instantly recognizable Breitling character.
The elegant champagne dial with contrasting gold subdials provides excellent legibility while maintaining a refined and luxurious appearance. The applied hour markers and luminous hands enhance visibility, and the date display is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The watch is fitted with a new high-quality brown leather strap and an original Breitling buckle, completing its classic and versatile look.
