Elegant Colonial/Regency-style rotating bookcase, handcrafted from solid mahogany or rosewood with a deep chocolate finish. This piece, also known as a "bookmill", combines functionality and classic design, allowing a compact and accessible collection of books from any angle thanks to its smooth rotating base.
It was originally designed so that lawyers and scholars could access multiple reference books without leaving their chair. Base with a fluid 360-degree rotating system, robust and stable.
The furniture is in excellent vintage condition. It shows minimal signs of use appropriate to its age, preserving the integrity of the wood and a perfect operation of the turning mechanism.
