Collection “What Moves Us”
In this work, Ferrari appears as a metaphor for seduction and emotional intensity. The dominant red represents not just a car, but a psychological state linked to desire, provocation, and the freedom to live guided by emotion.
The figure’s expression — marked by a wink and a provocative gesture — creates a tension between control and impulse. There is confidence, but also play and risk, as with any heart-led decision.
More than a reference to the automotive world, Ferrari symbolizes those who choose to live with intensity, aware that the emotional speed of life rarely allows for perfect brakes.
I am a self-taught Brazilian artist, based in Portugal since childhood, where I developed my artistic identity and creative vision. I first came into contact with art as a child, but it was only in 2022 that I decided to leave my career in gastronomy, where I worked as a chef, to devote myself entirely to the visual arts.
This change happened unexpectedly, from a spontaneously created drawing that immediately drew interest from those who saw it. From that moment, I realized the potential of my work and decided to bet 100% on art.
In just four years, I have already exhibited in São Paulo and had a solo show in Porto, at WOW – World of Wine, where I presented around 40 works, almost all of which were acquired by collectors.
My work develops between the abstract and the conceptual, with a strong focus on psychology and how each person interprets what they see. Rather than creating something visually appealing, I strive to develop works with multiple readings that invite reflection and questioning. I enjoy working with subtle details and hidden elements that are not always perceived at first glance, creating a deeper and longer-lasting relationship with the viewer.
I believe art should not be merely aesthetic, but should provoke emotions, unsettle, and spark thought. Each person can have a different interpretation of the same work, and that is precisely what makes art so interesting.
I work exclusively with unique pieces, reinforcing the rarity of each work and its value over time. I see art not only as creative expression but also as an investment asset, and my career has increasingly reflected a steady appreciation, with growing interest at both national and international levels.
Parallel to this, I am developing a literary project in the field of science fiction, with the aim of expanding my creative universe beyond the visual arts.
I am 31 years old and, although still at an early stage of my career, I believe I am building a solid path with strong growth potential.
