Description from the seller

Elegant mantel clock crafted in polished black marble, enhanced by a decorative engraving enriched with gold highlights, in a classical style inspired by late 19th to early 20th century French productions.

The circular dial on a black background, surrounded by a brass bezel, features finely drawn Roman numerals as well as a delicate central motif. The overall presentation offers a clear reading and a refined aesthetic.

The architectural structure, with balanced lines, is adorned with engraved and gilded geometric motifs, with elegant side scrolls typical of mantel clocks. The polished black marble provides depth and contrast, highlighting the gilded elements.

The quality of manufacture, substantial weight, and meticulous finish give this piece a handsome decorative presence.

Mechanism untested. The clock is clean and visibly well maintained.
