XTC Artist presents Mc Caviar 19cm Cobalt Blue, a resin sculpture finished with 24K gold leaf in cobalt blue, signed by hand, 19 cm high with a 15 x 10 cm base, weighing about 1 kg, edition 1/8 (2026), with a mother‑of‑pearl caviar spoon and a COA provided, originating from France.
Description from the seller
Exceptional sculpture by XTC Artist: Grand cone of McCaviar Blue cobalt and 24K gold with its mother-of-pearl spoon.
It stands 19 cm tall, weighs about 1 kg, on a plexiglass base 10 x 15 cm and 15 mm thick.
Designed and crafted in molded resin, adorned with 24-carat gold leaf (everything that is gold is pure gold leaf, including the logo), painted in cobalt blue, glossy varnish, and, of course, filled with caviar of my making with its mother-of-pearl caviar spoon.
This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 EA.
Probably the most emblematic XTC artwork to date, in blue and gold, the original!
A riff on a McDonald's cone, a future luxurious dish in a fast-food version? Not impossible!
Signed and numbered underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(the copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo)
Careful and trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of everyday contemporary goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all sorts of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration among others from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
