This camera is a Kodak No. 3A, manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY, USA. Based on the visible features, it is a No. 3A Folding Pocket Kodak (Model C) or its Autographic variant.

Camera Details

Production period:
No. 3A models were produced approximately between 1903 and 1915.

Film format:
It originally used type 122 film, producing negatives the size of a postcard (approx. 8 × 14 cm).

Optics and Shutter:
It is equipped with a Kodak Anastigmat f/7.7 lens (visible on the lens ring in the image) and a shutter that allows various speeds and aperture settings (16, 22, 32, 45).

Design:
It features a metal body covered in black leather and an extendable bellows.

Special Features:
This is the Autographic model, which includes a small metal door on the back that allowed the photographer to write notes directly onto the film using a metal stylus—an important innovation of the time.
