Description from the seller
Bada is a Chinese manufacturer with a very well-known brand name in the Asian audiophile world. This device, the HD-22SE, is the export version of the HD-22 and uses better components than the HD-22s intended for the Chinese and Asian markets. The HD-22 has one tube (6N3) as an OP-AMP and two outputs: a group of vacuum-tube outputs and an operational amplifier output. Also a coaxial digital signal output.
A heavyweight, solidly built unit, with two toroidal transformers. Feature: an extruded aluminum chassis, Solen capacitors and a Phillips drive mechanism. The player uses the PCM1732 HDCD decoder, a digital filter and a D/A conversion chip from BB Corporation in the USA.
A high-quality multi-stage filter circuit filters the digital signal, a simulation amplifier circuit provides a powerful, voltage-stabilized supply. The 230-volt input is equipped with an L-filter circuit. The power supply consists of two high-quality R transformers for the digital and analog circuits.
The sound is clearer, more detailed, with more musicality and soundstage than many other CD players. Read more on the web about the performance of the Bada HD-22SE.
