The "Tondo" Polistil is an iconic toy film projector for Super 8 and 8 mm film, launched in 1969 and today a sought-after object of vintage design and mid-century modernism. 
Designed by Giulio Lurani Cernuschi, it stands out for its perfect-sphere shape (Space Age design) made of metal and ABS plastic. 
Operation: When closed it appears as a colored ball on a base; once the upper dome is opened, it reveals the internal mechanism with lenses and levers for projection.

Il "Tondo" Polistil è un iconico cineproiettore giocattolo per pellicole Super 8 e 8 mm, lanciato nel 1969 e diventato oggi un ricercato oggetto di design vintage e modernariato. 
Ideato da Giulio Lurani Cernuschi, si distingue per la sua forma a sfera perfetta (Space Age design) realizzata in metallo e plastica ABS.
Funzionamento: Quando è chiuso appare come una palla colorata su una base; una volta aperta la calotta superiore, rivela il meccanismo interno con lenti e leve per la proiezione.
