Bronze heraldic seal matrix from the eighteenth century, 2.5 cm tall, with a crowned shield supported by two facing lions, a winged crest, and the motto “DEUS DEDIT” on a lower scroll.

Bronze heraldic seal matrix – motto “DEUS DEDIT” – 18th century
Bronze seal matrix with heraldic decoration finely engraved, featuring an escutcheon topped by a crown and supported by two lions facing each other. The shield is divided into two parts: one adorned with horizontal fasces, the other charged with a rampant lion.
The whole is surmounted by a crest depicting a stylized winged creature (griffin or dragon). A lower scroll bears the motto perfectly legible: “DEUS DEDIT” (God gave it).
A work of fine quality, typical of heraldic productions of the 19th century, probably intended for a family of notable or minor nobility.
Beautiful old patina, wear consistent with age. Yes
