A Belgian 1910–1920 mechanical mantel clock in wood and brass, with a winding key and a mechanical movement, 1 day power reserve, striking on a bell every half hour, and dimensions of 70 cm high, 50 cm wide, 20 cm deep (weighing 3 kg).

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This clock comes from my parents' estate. My grandfather (clockmaker from Bree, Belgian Limburg) owned it previously. Because the spring in the winding mechanism is broken or uncoiled, the clock cannot be wound (it is easy to repair). The winding mechanism of the 'bell' works, though. The wood carving is simply beautiful. The key and pendulum are original.
