Description from the seller

An elegant and large antique cut crystal decanter, most likely produced in the renowned glassmaking region of Bohemia (Central Europe), dating to around 1900.

This impressive example stands out due to its refined craftsmanship and generous size (32 cm). The rounded body is beautifully decorated with classic oval (lens) cuts, while the underside features a finely executed star cut base, reflecting light with depth and brilliance.

The tall, faceted neck is crowned with a sculptural stopper, which is original and well-matched, an important and desirable feature for collectors.

UV-reactive glass:

Under UV light (365 nm), the decanter shows a bright green fluorescence, characteristic of manganese-decolorized antique glass.
This adds an interesting historical and visual dimension to the piece.
