Description from the seller
Sanyo DCA-650 – Vintage hi-fi integrated amplifier (the 1970s)
For sale an elegant and powerful Sanyo DCA-650, stereo integrated amplifier produced in Japan in the early 1970s, a expression of the analog engineering of the era and today highly appreciated by vintage audio enthusiasts.
This model stands out for its solid build, brushed aluminum front with wood finishes, and refined circuitry designed to ensure stability, low distortion, and natural, dynamic sound reproduction.
From a sonic standpoint, the DCA-650 offers a warm and detailed listening experience, with a very wide frequency response (up to 100 kHz) and extremely low distortion, making it suitable for both music listening and use with high-quality analog sources.
Technical main features:
Power: 2 x 43 W into 8 Ohms (up to 60 W into 4 Ohms)
Frequency response: 5 Hz – 100 kHz
Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.1%
Damping factor: 60
Signal-to-noise ratio: up to 90 dB
Minimum speaker impedance: 4 Ohms
Inclusions and functionality:
Dual MM phono input (ideal for turntables)
AUX, tuner, and two tape loop inputs
Front microphone input with dedicated mixer
Outputs for two pairs of speakers (A/B)
Separatable pre and main sections (Pre Out / Main In)
Advanced tone controls (bass, treble, loudness, filters)
Build quality and design: The DCA-650 uses a transistor-based circuit with excellent complementary configuration and particular attention to stability and noise reduction. The presence of a slew-rate selector and the absence of bypass capacitors at critical circuit points contribute to a more faithful reproduction of the audio signal.
The result is an extremely musical amplifier, capable of driving even demanding loudspeakers with balance and control.
Excellent condition with some signs of wear from time.
A vintage amplifier of great charm, ideal for collectors and for those who want to enter the world of analog hi-fi with an authentic product from the golden years of audio.
