This fairly large scraper was made from local flint from Normandy and is typical for the MTA (Mousterian of the Acheulean Tradition) of the region. In Normandy and surrounding areas, large quantities of tools were found that were made by H. neanderthalensis. This piece originates from Saint Brice Sous Rânes.
In perfect condition and with no restorations

Deze vrij grote schraper werd gemaakt uit lokale vuursteen van Normandië en is typisch voor het MTA (Mousterien de Tradition Acheuléen) uit de streek. In Normandië en omstreken werden er grote hoeveelheden werktuigen gevonden die gemaakt werden door de H. Neanderthalensis. Dit stuk is afkomstig van Saint Brice Sous Rânes.
