Description from the seller
Italian 1970s design dining set in Giorgetti style – faux bamboo table with glass top and 4 coordinating chairs
Elegant Italian dining set from the 1970s composed of a square table and four coordinated chairs, made in worked wood (faux bamboo), a typical stylistic hallmark of Italian design of the period.
The table features a refined top divided into panels with inset glass, a solution that visually lightens the structure and enhances the artisanal quality of the workmanship. The legs and profiles recall the aesthetic of turned bamboo, a decorative element highly appreciated in late 1970s and early 1980s design.
The model is traceable to the buffet-style tables attributed to Vittorio Gregotti’s design environment, examples of elegant balance between architectural rigor and material decoration.
The four coordinated chairs repeat the same workmanship with a bamboo-effect wooden frame and a padded seat upholstered in decorative fabric, ensuring comfort and aesthetic coherence with the table. The set presents as harmonious and complete, ideal for domestic use as well as as an interior element in vintage or design contexts.
