Kern K1-V engineer's theodolite, manufactured by Kern & Co. AG in Aarau, Switzerland. This type of instrument is known for its compact construction and mechanical reliability.
Technical details:
• Model: K1-V (equipped with automatic vertical index via liquid level compensator).
• Serial number: 212519.
• Year of manufacture: Circa 1974-1975.
• Origin: Aarau, Switzerland.
Condition of the instrument:
• Optics: In very good condition. The image is clear and the lenses are free of scratches, dust inclusions, or mold.
• Mechanism: All axes (horizontal and vertical) rotate smoothly. The fine adjustment screws and the clamping screws function properly and show no play.
