This vintage Hollywood Regency table lamp embodies the “skyscraper” or “cityscape” aesthetic of high-end European design from the 1970s. The sculptural base is made of brass (or gold-plated metal) and features chrome or brushed steel trim to create a multi-toned, geometric look. It is in very good condition, I think this is not a bedside table lamp, but a table desk lamp. If only because it does not have a separate switch, but a switch built into the lamp stem. A completely rare collector's item, I've seen similar ones before, but never exactly like this. Especially a rare appearance from Herda.
