Table-top photo frame in gilded bronze, richly pierced with decorative volutes, shells and foliate scrolls in the Rocaille/Rococo taste. The mount presents a highly dynamic workmanship with a pierced crown and a base forming an integrated stand.

The back is fitted with a sheet-metal easel allowing display on a table or a fireplace. The closure system with pivoting metal lugs keeps the glass plate and the backing secure.

French workmanship from the late 19th century.

Cadre photo de table en bronze doré, richement ajouré à décor de volutes, coquilles et rinceaux feuillagés dans le goût du style Rocaille/Rococo. La monture présente un travail très mouvementé avec un couronnement ajouré et un piètement formant support intégré.

Le dos est muni d’un chevalet en tôle permettant la présentation sur une table ou une cheminée. Le système de fermeture à pattes métalliques pivotantes maintient la plaque de verre et le fond.

Travail français de la fin du XIXème.
