Description from the seller

Mercedes-Benz C107 Class SLC 350

GENERAL:

This particular example is equipped with a 3.5-liter V8 engine with an output of 194 horsepower, making it one of the rare and sought-after versions of the C107 model range.
The car has an original mileage of approximately 263,000 km,

This Mercedes-Benz represents an excellent opportunity for classic car enthusiasts. It is a European specification vehicle, originally delivered new in Spain, with complete Spanish documents and service book. The car has been properly deregistered in Spain, which ensures trouble-free re-registration in any EU country.

Overall, the vehicle is in very good optical and technical condition, with no rust and beautiful, almost flawless paintwork. It has been professionally repainted in the past; The paint quality is high and for its age it appears almost perfect and absolutely rust-free. As with any classic, small details could be improved, in my opinion the paint does not need any interventions or repairs.

BODY AND PAINT

The body is in excellent structural condition and completely rust-free. The paint looks fresh and shiny, with a professional repaint with even color and depth. The chrome strips are complete and in flawless condition.
All body panels are well aligned and the doors close properly. Overall the exterior gives a clean, straight and exceptionally well-preserved impression for a 1987 model.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Mechanically the Mercedes is in very good running condition. The engine starts and is fully functional, smoke-free but may require minor servicing such as replacing spark plugs and filters and fine-tuning the system for flawless operation. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and precisely.
The driving performance is typical of the C107's reputation: solid, quiet and reliable.

The engine, transmission, suspension and brakes work properly and all lights, indicators and electrical systems are fully functional.
There are no rattles or vibrations and the car drives comfortably and confidently.

INTERIOR

In order to preserve the originality, the interior is original, very clean and well preserved with a fine patina as befits a true classic. The leather upholstery is also in very good condition with no major damage or repairs needed.
The dashboard is flawless, without cracks or fading and the wood paneling is complete and beautifully preserved. All controls, switches and indicators are functional (air conditioning is not functional).
Overall, the cabin remains comfortable, elegant and true to its period charm - a fine example of 1980s Mercedes craftsmanship.

DOCUMENTATION

The car comes with full Spanish documentation including the original service book and maintenance record.
All necessary documents are available, making the registration and transfer process for the next owner simple and straightforward.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
