Description from the seller

Pair of glass containers, circa 1877, produced by Gillinder & Sons, a glassware manufacturer in the United States, to celebrate the centennial of American independence.
They are about 33 cm tall and have a lid diameter of 19 cm.
They are intact, in excellent, if not superb, condition.
The lid bears a satinized lion’s head, and the body of the container features three satinized, stylized lion heads as well as the base.
They will be shipped via Poste Italiane in the event of a sale, and the package will be packed with every precaution.
