Knife rest (10) - BASSET / TECKEL - Glass

A set of 10 charming Art Deco glass knife rests from the 1930s depicting a dog, probably a Basset Hound or a Dachshund / Sausage Dog / Wiener Dog.

Made in France in the 1930s from pink / rose, orange, blue glass, these knife rests are in good condition, 2 small chips missing, but barely visible (see last photos).

These knife rests are a true enchantment, as they beautifully capture the light in their delicate glass.

They are sure to stand out on a gracefully set table.
