MARTINELLI SERPENTE lamp original from the 1960s. Chrome color discontinued.

Designed in 1965 by Elio Martinelli, this lamp was manufactured using innovative techniques with acrylic for the era, and it evokes the atmosphere of those years, crucial for the worldwide success of Italian design.

With a height of 450 mm and a diameter of 450 mm, it houses an E27 12 W bulb. Its soft, diffused lighting is ideal for reading, accent lighting, or creating a cozy atmosphere in interiors with a contemporary style or inspired by the aesthetics of the mid-20th century.

It is an original vintage item from the 60s (the first generation), therefore it shows signs of age: 1) the lamp does not have the lower plastic cap; 2) due to the use of old bulbs (which heated up) the top part of the tulip has partially deformed—there is even a small restoration; and 3) the chrome shows some rust and wear.
