Description from the seller

Miura

This is a unique and original work, entirely hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. The artist works exclusively with unique pieces; there are no prints, reproductions, or editions of this work. The piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, delivered in an envelope together with the artwork.

Acrylic on canvas
Collection “What Moves Us”

In this work, the Lamborghini represents the most visceral side of human strength. The vibrant yellow and the explosive expression of the figure convey raw energy, impulse, and release.

The mouth open in a scream breaks the serenity of the traditional portrait, transforming the character into a manifestation of inner power. The Lamborghini ceases to be merely a symbol of luxury and speed and becomes a metaphor for adrenaline, ambition, and the courage to push boundaries.

Within the collection “What Moves Us,” this piece represents the moment when emotion ceases to be contained and becomes action.

I am a self-taught Brazilian artist, based in Portugal since childhood, where I developed my artistic identity and creative vision. I had my first contact with art as a child, but it was only in 2022 that I decided to leave my career in gastronomy, where I worked as a chef, to devote myself entirely to the plastic arts.

This change happened unexpectedly, stemming from a spontaneously drawn piece that immediately piqued the interest of those who saw it. From that moment, I realized the potential of my work and decided to bet 100% on art.

In just four years, I have already held exhibitions in São Paulo and a solo show in Porto, at WOW – World of Wine, where I presented about 40 works, almost all acquired by collectors.

My work develops between abstract and conceptual, with a strong focus on psychology and how each person interprets what they see. More than creating something visually appealing, I strive to develop works with multiple layers of meaning that invite reflection and questioning. I enjoy working with subtle details and hidden elements that are not always perceived at first glance, creating a deeper and longer-lasting relationship with the viewer.

I believe art should not be merely aesthetic but should provoke emotions, unsettled minds, and set thoughts in motion. Each person can have a different reading of the same work, and it is precisely this that makes art so interesting.

I work exclusively with unique pieces, reinforcing the rarity of each work and its value over time. I see art not only as creative expression but also as an investment asset, and my trajectory has been reflecting a steady appreciation, with growing interest both nationally and internationally.

Parallely, I am developing a literary project in the field of science fiction, with the goal of expanding my creative universe beyond the visual arts.

I am 31 years old and, although still at an early stage of my career, I believe I am building a solid path with strong growth potential.
