Dimensions: ca. 20.5 x 45.0 cm

Rear side stamped with the mark of an art-supply firm from Berlin. This points to a German painter of the late 19th century.

Framed (minimal defects)

The painter has masterfully depicted the distinctive atmosphere of the Paestum temples in the evening light of the Campagna, where the setting sun drapes the well-preserved Greek temples in a magical golden glow.
