2 fully restored cast and hand-painted tin figures from Rose Miniatures, 54 mm scale, German Colonial Troops, South-West Africa, officer and Askari, 1914. Highly detailed, museum-quality, mounted on a wooden plinth, with a handwritten description. Shipped in a sturdy numbered box. Sent via Bpost.
Seller's Story
Located in Antwerp, in the old Beguinage, I'm fully devoted to tin soldiers - collecting, making, designing, restoring them. My (Swedish) grandfather made me my first tin soldiers in the late 70s, and Christmas was definitely a magical time back then. Completely enthralled as I was, grandad subsequently taught me how to cast in the early 80s, once I was old enough. And ever since the tin soldiers have been a constant. Every single one of the tin soldiers is fully handcrafted or restored in Flanders, Belgium. They are produced in a numbered series or limited edition.
Since 2021 I'm fully certified as a craftsman, accredited by the Belgian state.
