Olivetti Lettera 82 portable typewriter, a classic design and practicality hallmark of the 1980s.
Produced in the Olivetti do Brasil S.A. facilities (as visible in the photos, label on the back) and launched from 1984, following Olivetti's acquisition of the Swiss Hermes brand.
The Lettera 82 is famous for its mechanism derived from the historic Hermes Baby, renowned for being extremely compact, lightweight, and reliable. Robust construction that combines metal mechanical components with a durable plastic body in a rare and elegant brown finish.
The item shows signs of wear visible in the photos, which attest to its authenticity and vintage character without compromising its functionality or usability in the slightest.
The machine still mounts its original ribbon; it is functional, but for optimal print quality a replacement is optionally recommended. Included is its original hard case with carrying handle.
It is the ideal companion for writers, collectors, or as a refined vintage decorative piece.
