- On March 11, 1984, Serge Gainsbourg burnt a 500-franc bill live on television. This famous provocation was intended to alert public opinion to the tax pressure he said he was victims of. Appreciating this artist especially for his career, vision and positions, I wish to pay homage to him today through this work.

SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.

He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value rose noticeably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also making an impact in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations among collectors.

His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin).
