This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in contemporary art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter I is transformed into a tribute to Robert Indiana, reinterpreting his iconic visual language based on typography, color, and the power of direct messaging. The composition evokes his famous sculptures and graphic works, where letters become universal symbols loaded with meaning.

The structure presents a solid and contundent geometry, with flat and vibrant colors — intense reds and contrasting blues — that evoke the artist’s unmistakable style within the pop movement. The inclusion of a circular element at the top introduces a formal reference to his most recognizable compositions, where typography acquires a sculptural dimension.

The piece rests on a base that reinforces its presence as an exhibition object, bringing it closer to the language of public and monumental sculpture characteristic of Indiana. The formal simplicity and use of color generate an immediate, direct, and visually powerful reading.

The work was created using a fully digital 3D process (CGI), artisanal in its modelling with particular attention to proportions, surface cleanliness, and the interaction of light with matte and satin materials, achieving a precise and balanced aesthetic.
