Description from the seller
The Paillard Bolex H16 Reflex camera is a 16 mm cinema camera. The H16 Reflex brings several improvements over the previous Bolex H16 models. The main one lies in its optical system allowing framing and focusing through the lens. To do this, the H16 Reflex uses a semi-reflecting prism between the lens and the shutter, thus replacing the rotating mirror of the previous models. This innovation eliminates the flicker observed when shooting with the earlier models.
The H16 Reflex runs on a spring-powered motor. At full power, it can film for 40 seconds at 16 frames per second, making it more capable than the earlier H16 models. As with the previous Bolex cameras, the H16 Reflex accepts three C-mount cinema lenses in a rotating turret. The camera offers variable frame rate settings from 8 to 64 frames per second. The H16 Reflex can operate continuously or frame-by-frame. It also features manual rewinding for fades and superimpositions.
The camera is immaculate and fully functional..
