Description:
Round ceramic vase on a black rubber foot ring made by the ceramicist Ellen Rijsdorp in her own studio Bacinol in Delft. Ellen Rijsdorp has been working for over 30 years as a professional ceramic artist after completing her ceramic training in Gouda (1985-1991). She also works as a ceramics lecturer at the university TU Delft. The vase has a blue-green glaze with a rough texture and a blue circle on the top. Furthermore, the vase has a round bottom and a black rubber foot ring on which the vase can be placed. The vase is unmarked, but clearly recognizable as a vase by Ellen Rijsdorp due to the combination of the round shape, rough texture and rubber foot ring (see photos).
