Functional Note
The flip mechanism operates correctly and the cam system releases the hour as intended.
Due to the mechanical design of the flip system and the influence of gravity on the number cards, optimal operation is achieved when the clock is positioned with a slight forward inclination. In this configuration, the flip action occurs cleanly and at the correct moment.
When placed perfectly flat, the mechanism still functions, but the release of the number cards may occasionally occur with a slight delay of a few minutes. This behavior is inherent to the construction of this type of mechanical flip clock and is a known and accepted characteristic among collectors.
To ensure optimal performance, a custom red EVO mat will be included. When in use, the rear portion of the base can rest on the mat while the curved front section remains on the supporting surface, creating the ideal inclination for smooth and precise operation.
