Description from the seller

Small travel desk from the Carlo X period in walnut and walnut burl for the top. Restored and re-polished with shellac in the 1990s. Inlaid escutcheons on the drawers and bronze rings for the openings. Top profiles in maple. Small turned feet. Long tapered supports/heather? (unclear term). Acquired from a French antique dealer and originating from an ancient Savoyard family. In my humble opinion, a notable piece.
