Aluminum 50 Sen coin with a richly detailed design and strong symbolic charge, where the obverse shows a ceremonial altar framed by complex decorative elements inspired by traditional Khmer aesthetics, highlighting the fineness of the engraving. The reverse features a more orderly composition, with a legend in French and the value in Khmer surrounded by a well-defined laurel crown. The specimen is in excellent condition, with intense original luster, clean fields, and sharp reliefs, showing only minimal contact marks. Issued during the Kingdom of Cambodia, it reflects a stage of cultural affirmation and balance between local tradition and Western influences in the mid-20th century.
