Rare 3-piece service set from LPG Limoges France – Porcelaine d’Art – c. 1955–1970 - from a private collection.
A stunning example of mid-century French elegance: this three-piece set from the renowned Limoges atelier LPG – Porcelaine d’Art is a true eye-catcher.
The set consists of a coffee- or tea-pot, a sugar pot, and a milk jug, each rendered in a distinctive stone-red glaze finish, with generous accents in fine gold. A truly unique combination!
The forms are graceful with handsome gold-colored handles and a sturdy foot – completely in the style of refined French porcelain from the 20th century.
The items are in excellent condition, with stunning gilding that has been exceptionally well preserved. It is clear that it has been treated with great care and hardly used.
