The Elixir 12027 is a set for electric guitars consisting of 6 strings, with a Custom Light gauge of .009 to .046 (.009, .011, .016, .026w, .036w, .046w) and made of nickel-plated steel

The strings feature an ultra-thin Nanoweb coating, which acts as a barrier against dirt, oil, sweat, and rust, ensuring the clear sound is retained longer than with uncoated strings

This coating also reduces the squeaking sound that can occur when moving fingers over the strings, which is particularly beneficial in studio work
