Corsica is a vibrant abstract painting where warm and fresh colors come together. The background, built up in layers of yellow, blue and green and subtly treated with sandpaper, gives the work a well-worn and dynamic texture. In the foreground, organic shapes in pink and orange immediately draw the eye, while a soft veil of beige around them creates calm and balance. The whole work evokes a sense of sun, freedom, and the playful character of a summer destination.
