The Beovox C40 is a classic passive bookshelf speaker from Bang & Olufsen, designed by Jacob Jensen in the late 1970s/early 1980s. It belongs to the Beovox C-series, known for its elegant one-piece aluminium “log-line” cabinet design, which aims to reduce resonance and deliver clean, natural sound. Though physically compact, the C40 aims to offer surprisingly good performance in smaller rooms, thanks to its thoughtful engineering: the woofer and tweeter are arranged and housed to minimize phase distortion and maximize clarity.
To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
