Il forte interesse per le potenzialità espressive del materiale ha portato a collaborare con i maestri vetrai, per acquisire il pieno controllo della particolare plasticità del vetro veneziano e per lavorare sull’equilibrio tra superficie e luce, tra sottili densità e trasparenze.
The strong interest in the material’s expressive potential led to collaborations with master glassmakers to gain full control of the glass’s distinctive plasticity and to work on the balance between surface and light, between subtle densities and transparency.
Ne risultano oggetti chiari, puri, che la lavorazione artigianale rende a tutti gli effetti dei pezzi unici. Trasparenza e opacità sono dosati sapientemente in modo da ottenere un vetro che rifletta e diffonda la luce senza abbagliare, senza perdere in efficienza.
The result is clear, pure objects that artisanal craftsmanship makes, in effect, unique pieces. Transparency and opacity are expertly balanced to produce glass that reflects and diffuses light without glare, without sacrificing efficiency.
