Beam scale on a cart
It is an antique beam balance scale (probably late 19th / early 20th century), mounted on a cart with wheels. The lever mechanism with the upper balance bar, the supporting rods, and some cylindrical weights resting on the platform are clearly visible. The structure is made of iron/cast iron with aged green paint and a lot of rust. It was typically used in markets, warehouses or railway stations to weigh goods.

È una bilancia a ponte d'epoca (probabilmente fine '800 / inizio '900), montata su un carrello con ruote. Si vede chiaramente il meccanismo a leva con il bilanciere superiore, le aste di sostegno, e alcuni pesi cilindrici appoggiati sulla piattaforma. La struttura è in ferro/ghisa con verniciatura verde invecchiata e molta ruggine. Era usata tipicamente in mercati, magazzini o stazioni ferroviarie per pesare merci.
