Description from the seller

CHECOSLOVAQUIA. 100 Korun. 1948.

- Value: 100 Korun.
- Year: 1948.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: an allegorical male figure with olive branch and flag, dates “1918 · 1948” and denomination “100”. Reverse: rampant lion with shield, legend “REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ”.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).

Silver commemorative coin of 100 Korun issued for the 30th anniversary of Czechoslovak independence, featuring on the obverse a classical-style allegorical male figure symbolizing freedom and peace, holding an olive branch and accompanied by a waving flag. The reverse presents the Czechoslovak heraldic lion, with strong presence and well defined, framed by a sober and elegant composition. The specimen shows solid preservation, with traces of original luster, fields with slight contact marks and well-preserved reliefs, in line with its grade. This piece reflects a key historical moment shortly before the political changes arising from the establishment of the communist regime in the country.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
