Kazak rugs are characterized by their geometric patterns and are largely inspired by older Russian and Caucasian rug motifs. Today these rugs are made in Pakistan and sold under the name "Kazak".

The newer rugs, produced after 1925, have a cotton warp instead of a wool warp and tend to have fewer and simpler patterns than the older ones. The rugs are quite durable and a popular choice among interior designers. The timeless elegance and the vivid colors of Kazak rugs create a strong contrast to minimalist and neutral design sketches. Kazak rugs are stonewashed to give them a natural luster, and they shine like jewels on the floor.
