Exceptional 19th-century musical repeating pocket watch in Breguet style, housed in a solid 18 kt rose gold (750) case.
The watch is equipped with a mechanical hand-wound movement featuring both repeater and musical complications, a highly sophisticated combination typically reserved for elite commissions in the 19th century.

The white enamel dial reflects the classic Breguet aesthetic, with elegant Arabic numerals and refined hands.
The “Breguet et Fils” signature is apocryphal, present on dial and movement. Such signatures were commonly used in the 19th century to indicate stylistic inspiration and quality, without implying manufacture by the Breguet house. No formal attribution to Breguet is claimed.

According to longstanding family tradition, this watch comes from a private family provenance, reputedly linked to aristocratic, While no official documentation is available to confirm this attribution, the quality of execution, complications, and precious metal case are consistent with watches produced for high-ranking clientele of the period.
