Industrial letter tray, also known as a printer's letter rack, was once used in typography to store lead type for typesetting.
The tray has a layout with many different compartments of varying sizes designed to keep the different letters, numbers, and punctuation sorted,
The letter rack is usable both vertically and horizontally [there are 2 hanging hooks for horizontal use.]
Made in the Netherlands in the 1920s-30s and in nice used condition
The letter tray is 83 x 36 x 4 cm, weight is 2.4 kg
and has a handle and multiple compartments in different sizes

Industriele Letterzetterslade, ook wel bekend als een drukkerijlade-Letterbak werd vroeger gebruikt in de typografie om loden letters in op te bergen voor het zetten van tekst.
De lade heeft een indeling met veel verschillende vakjes van diverse afmetingen ontworpen  om de verschillende letters,cijfers,leestekens gesorteerd te bewaren, 
de letterbak is zowel vertikaal als horizontaal te gebruiken[ er zitten 2 ophang haakjes aan[voor horizontaal gebruik.]
gemaakt in Nederland in de jaren 1920-30 en in mooie gebruikte staat
de letterbak is 83 x 36 x 4 cm,gewicht is 2.4 kg 
en heeft een handvat en meerdere vakjes in diverse maten
