All automatic watches must be wound by the crown on first use as wrist movement alone is not sufficient to maintain the required power reserve.

RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH A DATE FUNCTION
To avoid possible damage to the movement, please do not set the date with the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 3:00. It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Do not forget to securely tighten the crown after adjusting.)
