Claudio Rolfi’s original 30 x 40 cm oil and acrylic on a primed panel painting titled Vele al tramonto, signed by hand, produced in 2020 or later, in excellent condition and sold directly by the artist with a certificate of authenticity signed and stamped, shipped by FedEx, depicting a maritime landscape with sailboats in a realist style.

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masterly figures such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career, there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs devoted entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio broadcasters. Among the notable events is the major exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria, and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as set designs for Rai 3’s GEO program. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.
