Tichelaar Makkum - Dish (3) - Earthenware - Set of 3 plates

Origin: Makkum Tichelaar, Netherlands
Diameter: 27.2 cm.
Dating: 1950s-1970s.
Decoration: hand-painted in blue with peacock tail decoration.
Back side bearing the Makkum mark TT = Tinus Tichelaar.
Condition: good, only 1 plate with a small edge chip, otherwise in excellent condition.
On the back there are clear traces of the pegs (support nubs) that were used during firing – an authentic feature that belongs to traditionally crafted pottery.
