AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notes the great fascination that Italian art of the 1900s has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs dedicated entirely to him. The artist’s work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and by television and radio stations. Among the most notable events are the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.

Oil painting and mixed media on a canvased panel.

In art, Mixed Media indicates a work created using multiple materials or different techniques within the same composition. The artist is thus free to use and mix any technique or material to create his work.

The painting is a seascape—one of the landscapes of memory. The work is provided with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and stamped and shipped by FedEx.
