The Minolta MD Macro 50mm f/3.5 is a compact manual focus macro lens introduced in 1981 for Minolta SR/MD mount cameras. It achieves 1:2 magnification on its own (1:1 with the dedicated extension tube) and focuses from 0.23m to infinity, making it versatile for both macro and everyday standard shooting. Lightweight at just 200g, with a smooth helicoid and 55mm filter thread.
Compatible with all Minolta SR/MC/MD mount film SLRs, and can be adapted to modern mirrorless cameras (Sony E, Fuji X, Canon RF, Nikon Z, etc.) via inexpensive adapters.
Although there is some haze on the rear element, it does not affect shooting results.
