Description from the seller
Citroën 2CV6 Special 1985
- original Dutch car
- exceptionally original condition
- 'Blanc Meije' paintwork with black interior
- 602 cc two-cylinder (29 hp)
- MOT valid until May 11, 2027
EXTERIOR
The Citroën 2CV, also known as the 'Duck', who doesn’t know this iconic car? The example we are offering is not just any Duck, because it essentially has only positives: originally Dutch-delivered, exceptionally original and nicely finished in the original white color, which puts it in a beautiful condition that you won’t easily find a second one of. The bodywork has always been solid and the paintwork is in a very neat condition, with good alignment of the hood, boot lid, doors, sills and mudguards. The original spot welds are still visible! The color code 'EWT' stands for 'Blanc Meije', a fine classic white color. It is remarkable that this original color code is still visible under the hood. Almost all windows are still original. The roof can be slid back so you can enjoy sun and fresh air. Also the lights, the chrome work and the rubbers are in neat and fresh condition.
INTERIOR
The interior is also very original and finished in a handsome black fabric upholstery. Of course, it is also in good condition. The luggage compartment is also solid, pristine and original and it houses the spare wheel.
TECHNICAL
The 602 cc engine delivers 29 hp and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. The underside of the car is very solid and pristine, as can be seen in the photo gallery. The wheels are all equipped with Michelin tires. The car drives as it should: comfortable and playful. The latest MOT is valid until May 11, 2027. Thanks to the 1985 build year, it is considered a classic car in the Netherlands. Ready to drive away and enjoy immediately!"}

Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
