Empire-style display cabinet in Maple and Walnut Burl with Silkscreened Glass
Elegant Italian display cabinet from the early 1900s, crafted in maple wood with refined burl walnut veneers, belonging to the Empire style. The piece stands out for its commanding presence and balanced proportions, enhanced by turned side columns with sculpted capitals that recall classical architecture.
The upper frieze is finely hand-carved with neoclassical ornamental motifs, while the front structure features three glass doors with hand-silk-screened decorations, characterized by geometric and floral motifs. The interiors are divided by glass shelves, ideal for displaying objects, silverware, or collections.
The base is enriched with decorative carvings and rests on boldly carved feet, giving solidity and majesty to the whole. A piece of great elegance, perfect for classical interiors, studies or reception rooms.
