Gilded brass frame console table in an antique Rococo-inspired style (Louis XV/XVI), with floral motifs and a shell and vegetal frieze, dating from the second half of the 20th century, designed to support a top not included, and dimensions H80 x W35 x L92 cm, in good condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Refined gilt/bronze metal table or console frame, crafted in an elegant classical style inspired by Louis XV / Louis XVI designs, featuring rich decorative elements with floral motifs and central scrollwork. The front apron is finely detailed with a shell motif and vegetal patterns, characteristic of Rococo-inspired aesthetics, while the slender fluted legs end in small shaped feet, giving the piece a balanced and graceful appearance.
The piece is likely dating from the second half of the 20th century, produced with industrial techniques but with great attention to decorative detail, making it suitable for both classic interiors and as a contrasting element in more contemporary settings.
Originally designed to support a top (not included) in glass, marble, or wood, it can be used as:
* an entrance console
* a side or occasional table
* a decorative support for artworks, mirrors, or lamps
The quality of the decorative elements and the craftsmanship of the legs indicate a well-made piece, suitable for both functional use and decorative purposes.
Condition: overall good condition with normal signs of age and use, including minor surface wear, oxidation, and patina consistent with age. Structurally solid and stable.
Dimensions:
Height: 80 cm
Width: 35 cm
Length: 92 cm
